His Beneath the Jungle of Cozumel series chronicles the effort to expand and connect major cave systems beneath the island – a long-term project requiring logistical precision, team coordination, and persistence.

With more than twenty years of diving experience, Rob has dedicated much of his exploration career to cave environments. His work in Cozumel includes extending mapped cave passage and contributing to the growth of documented cave systems beneath the island.

His exploration writing reflects both the technical discipline and psychological demands of operating in remote overhead environments.
